TRADING EDUCATION & COACHING PROGRAM
This is a comprehensive two-month course on stock trading that primarily focuses on the US market, with occasional insights into the Singapore market. It’s important to note that becoming a successful trader requires more than a week-long crash course.
At Nimbus Capital, we use a trading strategy akin to that of hedge funds, specifically a Long/Short equity portfolio.
In this course, you will learn industry-standard practices employed by professional traders. Technical analysis constitutes only 10% of our framework, so expect 90% of the content to be new to you. Additionally, the skills you acquire will be applicable beyond trading, such as in forecasting mortgage rates and bank loan rates. This course combines applied economics with trading education.
Our Long/Short equity strategy, used by major hedge funds, aims to achieve alpha returns by hedging beta. Simply put, the performance of our portfolio is independent of market movements. We maintain a balanced portfolio with both long and short positions to ensure a neutral beta. We focus on identifying short-term catalysts that can drive stock prices up by 15-20% within 60 days, capturing these asymmetrical profits while minimizing losses from less successful trades due to our beta-hedged approach. This is how we achieve alpha returns.
Join us to gain the expertise needed to excel in the market and move beyond basic charting techniques.
This course is designed for both beginners and experienced traders. We offer it only twice a year due to the intensive nature of the training. Our approach is coaching-focused, avoiding generic information that can be easily found online.
The course runs for two months, with a total of eight sessions, one per week, each lasting three hours. You will need to complete homework on your own time and dedicate at least eight hours per week to trading activities. This is a serious commitment, not a casual hobby. If you prefer shortcuts, spoon-fed information, or are only interested in profits without putting in the effort, this course is not for you. We do not entertain traders who do not put in the effort to be self sustainable. You have been warned!
All lessons are conducted virtually via Zoom! Trust me, you do not want to be up at 7am on every Saturday, making your way down to town area for a classroom lesson.
Course fees:
Trading Course only: $3,000
Trading Course and Option Course: $4,000
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Lessons are deliberately spread out so that you can engage the market between sessions and apply the skills you have learned. There will be homework that you have to complete to ensure you are applying the skills correctly. You will learn to tackle the real market throughout the course. It is your duty as a disciplined trader to engage in these exercises.
